Becoming the Leader Others Want to Follow
Leadership isn't about being the loudest person in the room.
It's about learning how to communicate clearly, build trust, handle adversity, influence others, and lead with confidence when things get difficult.
Leadership 101 is an 8-week hybrid course designed specifically for athletes ages 13-18 who want to become stronger leaders in sports, school, and life.
Through weekly lessons, guided activities, leadership challenges, and live coaching sessions, you'll develop the skills that coaches, teammates, teachers, and future employers are looking for.
One Standard. One Responsibility. One Leader.
This Course Is For Athletes Who...
- Want to become a captain someday.
- Ready to take your leadership to the next level.
- Want to communicate better with teammates.
- Struggle with confidence or speaking up.
- Want to influence others without being bossy.
- Want to learn skills that will help long after sports are over.
You do not need a title to become a leader.
You simply need a system.
What Makes This Course Different?

Your instructor
I’m a mental performance coach, educator, and speaker who has spent more than 30 years leading and coaching teams from youth to professional volleyball. My approach to leadership is practical and evidence-based, shaped by an M.S. in Sport Psychology, an M.S. in Learning Technologies, and ongoing doctoral work focused on coaching considerations for neurodivergent athletes. I’ve helped athletes and coaches build confidence, focus, and resilience—the same core skills that make effective leaders.
In Leadership 101, I bring real-world lessons from the court and locker room into the classroom: clear communication, intentional mindset, feedback that drives growth, and culture-building that lasts. As founder of Soul Performance Academy, I create tools and courses that turn big ideas into everyday habits, and I care deeply about inclusive, person-first coaching. My goal is to help you lead yourself and others with clarity and consistency. Full bio and CV: https://DanMickle.com.
